No previous experience required. This is the best starting point if you want strong fundamentals before moving to intermediate throwing.

Course Info

6 Sessions

2½ Hours

This 6-session course offers a thorough introduction to the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Designed for beginners, it guides you through the full process of shaping clay on the pottery wheel, from your first centered piece to your final glazed forms.  You’ll benefit from ample one-on-one instruction and personalized guidance throughout the course.

Throughout six structured sessions, you’ll learn essential techniques including centering, pulling walls, shaping cylinders and bowls, trimming, and glazing.

The course focuses on creating mugs, bowls, and small forms, while also allowing space to experiment with simple design elements and surface techniques.

We are happy to provide a full refund when cancellation is made at least 3 weeks before the class start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made less than 3 weeks before the class begins.
