Tolu is a ceramic artist and researcher who has been working with clay since 2005.
Formally trained in ceramic arts, Tolu has worked across studios in Canada and West Africa, gaining a deep appreciation for material, patience, and process in each environment.
Today, he continues to teach and guide students not just in technique, but in learning how to communicate with clay.
The Open Studio Pass is a 4-week, monthly studio access program for makers who want consistent time to work on their own projects. You will have scheduled access to the studio space, tools, and equipment, and you will be working at the same time as a group of other makers. It creates a fun, motivating environment where you can focus on your work while sharing the space with people of like mind.
This is a self-guided format with no step-by-step instruction, so it suits those who are comfortable working independently and want time to practice, build, and improve at their own pace.
Pieces made during Open Studio will be bisque fired and prepared for pickup. If you would like to glaze your work, you can use our glaze firing service for an additional fee
Please note that we do not offer class rescheduling, so please ensure you are available for the scheduled dates
