About Tolu

I am a professional ceramist with core interest focused on ceramic practice both at contemporary and technical level with nitty-gritty on ceramic materials and analytical study of material behavior. I love to create harmony for thrown forms on the potters’ wheel with dexterity showing African/Asian master class. I’m also skillful at creating large forms on the potter’s wheel with decorations that are catching to the eyes, sometimes I do this using a mixed media decorative technique adapting the beauty behind African textile. I’ve learnt ceramics majorly in a self-reliant way, which has given me an in-depth understanding of working things around in getting any desired result in this field.
